My plan for this semester in Digital Art is to create something unique yet personal to me. I plan on utilizing pictures of friends, family, and loved ones in my collages. I plan to collate a collection of pictures of my dogs. I also plan on collaging pictures of my favorite places, such as a friend's house, a park, the beach, or even the flat irons in Colorado Boulder. I want this collage of locations to create a new figurative location that I thought up in my head that gives off the vibe of a dream. I also want to make artwork that captures one day or one week of my life compared to making something that reflects me or my entire life. I also plan to incorporate doodles and school notebook drawings into my artwork. For my zine, I plan on making a "get off of your phone" zine. I want to make it the shape of the phone and when you open it. Or a fridge-shaped zine with pages of my favorite foods and drinks. It is just like looking in someone's fridge but instead looking through a zine. My third idea is a playlist zine incorporating music and album covers. I would also like to make a zine interactive, like an activity book for kids at restaurants, and to have my zines limited edition in the sense that they are numbered. One feature I plan on including in my zines is QR codes, which take you to different websites and places online.
