My name is Wylie Douglas. I am a second year student at the University of Colorado Boulder and I am currently enrolled in Digital Art 1. I have learned so much in this class and through this project. I will definitely continue to utilize Wix for future projects and webventures if I decide to partake in that journey again. For my final project, I decided to make my webventure using the same theme as I have in prior projects which is “Wylies World,” a personal idea which reflects my life and every aspect of my childhood. I decided to start the webventure with my morning routine, and choose a character page as well as a start your adventure page. Obviously the best choice is Wylie, but there is definitely a shortcut hidden in there. I had a lot of fun with the easter eggs as well. There are hidden links throughout the webventure that direct you to other websites that resemble me. Some of my favorite youtube videos, video games, and websites like Berrics which is a skateboard company are hidden in the levels. I also had a lot of fun with the photoshops and gifs. I will definitely continue to make gifs, its by far one of my favorite things I learned in this class. I really like how if you click on something like play minecraft or go to school it will take you to the minecraft website or the university of colorado boulder link. I also want to give credit to the university for supplying me with the materials to make this along with my teacher for teaching me how to do all this.
