I plan on utilizing as many diverse sounds as I can for this Audition project due tomorrow. I want to create a dreamlike atmosphere for my audience as they listen to the construction of sounds. I recorded my girlfriend talking to her friend on the phone and some natural noises, such as the water dripping from the sink faucet. At first, I wanted to play into organizing the noises in a chronological order that resembles a pattern of someone's day. The more I considered that thought, the more I felt that was expected and typical for this project. I want to make something new and abstract, similar to the concept we learned about relating to the silent piano. Recently, I discovered my passion for music and dropped my first song on all platforms. I want to learn how to use audition not only for my digital art class but for my music career as well. Abstract sounds have always attracted my attention. One example is the artist Playboi Carti. He made noises that I had never heard before, and the fact that the sound composition was so unique blew me away. I plan to keep the same energy and theme for my Audition Project and other upcoming assignments regarding Wylie's World. This is my first time using audition, so hopefully, I get that beginner's luck and produce what I have imagined. Another aspect I want to incorporate is rhythm in this project, even if it is as abstract and unique as Playboi Carti.
